Come join Goo Goo Cluster at Yelp Helps, a night of creative challenges, tasty cocktails, delicious food and incredible music at the Cannery Ballroom on August 28th! Yelp Helps is a an opportunity to educate the local community on the missions of the 15 local non-profits in attendance, all while having a little fun. The event is FREE, but a donation of $10 or more would go a long way in helping the participating nonprofits. And guess what? If you show a little kindness with cash, you get a little something in return- a Heroes Pass! Goo Goo Cluster is proud to once again be teaming up with the Nashville Predators Hockey team for the 2012-2013 Season! This Saturday, August 4th, the Preds will have their single game tickets on sale. To celebrate, they’re hosting a plaza party with music, food, games, and other activities. Guess who will be there? A few weeks back we attended the Food & Wine Festival in Atlanta where Goo Goo Clusters were enthusiastically received by attendees. Well, this weekend, the Atlanta Food and Wine Festival team will be out in Colorado promoting their event by hosting a table in the tasting tent at the Aspen Classic. Naturally they wanted to showcase a taste of the South, and thought the best way to do so would be to serve up Mint Juleps and a Southern chocolate to the crowd. Want to take a guess at what Southern chocolate they chose? That’s right! Recently Nissan USA hosted national and international media journalists to ride and drive the new 2013 Nissan Altima. During this event, they used Goo Goo Clusters in a very unique way! In order to demonstrate the innovation, competitiveness, and weight reduction of the 2013 Altima over the 2012 Altima, they asked the question, “How many Goo Goo Clusters of weight did Nissan Engineers remove?” Check out the display above. That’s 723 Goo Goos! As a parting gift, Nissan gave the media visitors a little taste of Tennessee- a few of those very Goo Goo Clusters!
